North Atlantic Canoe and Kayak will be sponsoring a four hour American Canoe Association certified course “Fundamentals of Flatwater Safety and Rescue” on Monday May 24th and June 7th.  This workshop introduces essential flatwater safety practices and rescue techniques that can be performed with a minimum of equipment, in the first few minutes of an emergency. Instruction will run from 6 to 8 PM at Timber Point Park, Oakdale NY, and will be conducted by ACA Certified Instructors.  Pre Registration is required.
