The 12th Annual Mayday on the Bay Kayak and Stand-up-Paddle race, sponsored by Empire Kayaks in Island Park NY, will be held on May 1, 2010.  It’s a fun and fast 3 mile  loop around Garret Marsh beginning and ending at Empire Kayaks.  There will be prizes in a bunch of categories, some great give aways and a post race buffet. This is an event that appeals to both fast paddlers and casual fun racers.  A limited number of rental boats  are available.
